Description:
In 2002, Japan was hit hard by Mount Fuji's devastating eruption and a series of earthquakes and tsunamis, causing widespread damage and placing the country in a state of emergency. Shortly thereafter, another strong earthquake shook Japan, dividing the nation. Various countries extended aid and support to the Japanese people as they struggled to cope with the aftermath of these tragedies. China and the United States stepped in to offer assistance with China controlling the North and the US controlling the South. Fifteen years have elapsed, and tensions have emerged between Japanese refugees living in Taiwan and the Taiwanese populace. Job competition and miserable living circumstances for the refugees have propelled the two groups into conflict. Genichiro Ryu, a survivor of Japan's calamity who was raised by a Taiwanese couple, gets involved in the conflict. His aspiration is to reconcile the Japanese and Taiwanese communities while promoting peaceful coexistence between them.
