Description:

A prequel to Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, A.D. Police recounts the adventures of Mega-Tokyo's special police squad created to subdue rogue Boomers in the metropolis. A.D. Police Officer Kenji Sasaki finds himself in a tricky situation: his latest partner falls prey to a violent boomer. Shortly thereafter, he's put on leave, but before long, he's assigned a new partner, a German police officer named Hans Kleif. Oddly enough, Kenji had punched Hans in a bar just the night before. In addition to tackling the daily challenge of Boomer regulation, Kenji must learn to adapt to his new companion.
