Description:
Hidari Taisho receives a prophecy from a fortuneteller, instructing him to eliminate 1000 foxes as a means of securing his conquest over the country. Unfortunately, nobody is willing to take on this task except for Akuemon, a universally disliked individual. The foxes, however, have an unexpected response to Akuemon's endeavor, choosing to send a female fox to his abode, posing as his spouse. As Akuemon and the female fox interact, a tale of love unfolds, as the fox learns to reciprocate genuine affection, all while grieving the loss of her comrades. This sixth installment in "The Lion Books" series, marks the first animated rendition of one of Tezuka Osamu's original works by his older son, visualist Tezuka Makoto.
