Description:
The “Animation × Paralympic: Who Is Your Hero?” is a unique series featuring imaginary Paralympic athletes illustrated in celebrated Japanese animation. The venture intends to acquaint the world with new Paralympic sports stars via captivating characters and engaging plots structured through the collaboration of acclaimed comic artists and animated movie directors. The series is set to expand the roster of highlighted sports athletes by 2020. In August 2019, an episode animated by Kyoto Animation was slated for release, but sadly, it was later called off due to unforeseen circumstances. The production team found it impossible to finish the project in due time for the 2020 Paralympic Games, following an unfortunate arson attack on the studio.
