Description:

Hotaru Tachibana is a principled individual who cannot stand idly by when confronted with acts of malevolence. Interestingly, Hotaru is a girl who enjoys masquerading as a boy. Upon learning that her friend was fooled by the widely popular host of a local club, Hotaru decides to take action against the wrongdoer. Upon arriving at the venue, Masamune Matsuoka, the host of the club, challenges Hotaru to engage in a "survival game," where the first person to be hit by a toy bullet loses the game. After a grueling battle that culminates in Hotaru's defeat, Masamune coerces the younger "gentleman" to join his survival game team, Toy Gun Gun, in order to pay for the damages that "he" caused at the premises. Although unhappy at first, Hotaru gradually grows fond of the game and is determined to pay off her dues, much to the chagrin of Tooru Yukimura, the other member of Toy Gun Gun. As she spends more time with the team, Hotaru cultivates a close bond with her teammates and hopes to help them achieve their ultimate dream of triumphing in the Top Combat Game (TCG), a contest designed to determine the premier survival game team in Japan. However, as it turns out, Hotaru has two major problems. First, she is incredibly bad at the game, and second, Toy Gun Gun does not allow female members on their team!
