Description:

Humans now live on the star Vega, 12,000 years following the events depicted in Genesis Aquarion. However, their existence is not without peril, as they must contend with the constant threat of the trans-dimensional Abductors. These fearsome adversaries hail from Vega's parallel star, Altair, and continually raid the human planet for sustenance. To counteract this danger, a group known as Neo-DEAVA has emerged to defend against the Abductors. These warriors operate advanced mecha suits known as Aquaria, with strict separation between genders. Interactions between males and females are prohibited, including fighting together on the battlefield. Nevertheless, everything changes when a cutting-edge Abductor mecha suit enters the scene. Two teenagers, Mikono and Amata, find themselves swept up into the dangerous fight. Unbeknownst to Amata, he commits a taboo when he summons an Aquaria and initiates a Forbidden Union between male and female Aquaria. Neo-DEAVA is astounded, and the fallout from Amata's actions extend far beyond his comprehension. How did he summon an Aquaria? Where did he learn of the Forbidden Union? And why can Mikono operate the mecha suit as well?
