Description:
During his middle school years, Ichirou Satou went by the heroic name "Maryuuin Kouga" as a coping mechanism, which caused him to be the target of bullies. Now in high school, he tries to blend in and avoid attention but finds life mundane. One evening when he returns to school to retrieve a forgotten textbook, he encounters a peculiar girl in costume- Ryouko Satou- who is actually a fellow classmate with the same delusional tendencies as he had. Despite his initial reluctance, Ichirou is persuaded by his teacher to befriend Ryouko, and he becomes determined to help her overcome the same struggles he faced as Maryuuin Kouga. Ichirou's personal experience allows him to empathize with Ryouko's situation and provide the support she needs to break free from her own delusions and bullies.
