Description:
The legendary transcontinental train, Flying Pussyfoot, sets out on its journey across the country in the early 1930s, leaving behind a trail of blood. In New York, ambitious scientist Szilard and his unwilling aid Ennis embark on a search for missing bottles of the elixir of immortality. Meanwhile, a mafia war escalates. And aboard the Advena Avis in 1711, alchemists are about to learn the ultimate cost of never-ending life. This anime adaptation, based on the acclaimed light novels of the same name, weaves seemingly unrelated events from different times and places into a larger tale of alchemy, survival, and the quest for eternal life.
