Despite his passion for sports, Shoutarou Futaba had always remained a benchwarmer for his middle school baseball team. However, his chance encounter with a group of gymnasts practicing in the park changed his life forever. Witnessing a mesmerizing rhythmic gymnastics tournament, Shoutarou felt captivated and inspired. During the contest, he saw the Rhythmic Gymnastics Club of Shoushukan High School perform incredibly well. However, the club ended up finishing second-to-last due to penalties for not having a complete team of six members. Moved by the team's skills, Shoutarou ambitiously decides to enroll at Shoushukan and try his luck in rhythmic gymnastics. Despite having no prior background in the sport, the club accepts him and a budding gymnast named Ryouya Misato, who was the junior tournament's runner-up. With a full team, the club is now ready to compete and win the upcoming Inter-High tournament. However, for Shoutarou to achieve his goal, he must work hard, master the fundamental principles of rhythmic gymnastics, and blend in with his new teammates. Only this way can Shoushukan dream of securing the title.
