Description:
Despite being the ace of his middle school baseball team, Ren Mihashi's poor pitching always led to their defeat. As a result, his teammates bullied him and stopped trying to win. This caused Mihashi to graduate with low self-esteem. He decided to attend a high school in a different prefecture with no plans of playing baseball. However, upon arriving at Nishiura High, he was coerced into joining their new team as the starting pitcher. At first, Mihashi was reluctant to join the team, but he soon realized that this was a place where he could be accepted for who he was. With the help of his catcher, Takaya Abe, he started to gain more confidence in his abilities. Abe recognized Mihashi's potential and set out on a mission to transform him into a pitcher worthy of the title "ace."
