Description:
Salaryman Rokurou Okajima spends his days striving to ascend the corporate ranks of his company until a fateful business negotiation in Thailand turns disastrous. Held captive by the Lagoon Company, a heartless gang of pirate mercenaries, Rokurou faces a bleak fate when his managers refuse to pay his ransom. But in a surprising move, he joins the very crew who kidnapped him instead of pleading for his survival. However, being a member of the Lagoon Company means adapting to life in Roanapur - a depraved city riddled with crime and corruption, where any mistake could prove fatal. Adding to his struggles, Rokurou also clashes with a brash gunfighter named Revy. With everything on the line, Rokurou must let go of his past, and fight to retain his humanity while making agonizing choices under extreme pressure.
