Description:
Captain Harlock and the crew of his spaceship Arcadia were exiled from Earth as depicted in the final scene of Arcadia of My Youth. The universe had been overwhelmed by the Illumidus, a vicious humanoid species that had taken over Earth and numerous other planets. They wreaked havoc and wreaked destruction on all the habitable planets they came across. In "Endless Orbit SSX", Captain Harlock fought the Illumidus, and sought the mythological "Planet of Peace," a place where all the universe's population could live without war or oppression.
