The world is rocked when Mina Tepes, the supreme leader of vampires, shocks viewers during a live TV broadcast by revealing the existence of her kind and announcing her plan to establish a sanctuary for them in Japan - the Vampire Bund. With her family riches, Mina eradicates national debt and provides a secure refuge for her nocturnal kin. However, skeptical humans doubt her true intentions, doubting her peace-seeking motives are nothing but a guise. Akira Kaburagi, a man with memory loss and an inherent repulsion towards vampires, leads a simple existence till Mina enters his life. Her arrival sparks recollection of a forgotten life and Akira thus dedicates himself to protecting her, despite his bewilderment.
