Description:
In the upcoming years, augmented reality has become an indispensable part of daily life. Recently, Yasako Okonogi, a soft-spoken middle school student, and her family relocated to Daikoku City, despite rumors of mysterious disappearances among the residents. Yasako's grandmother, fondly known as "Mega-baa," runs Megasia, an establishment that deals in illegal tools that can connect with elements of the virtual world. Interestingly, Mega-baa also runs an unlicensed investigative agency called "Coil," consisting of Yasako's peers. Their mission is to detect and repair virtual world infections. When Yasako's pet cyberdog, Densuke, becomes trapped while tracking a perplexing virus, Coil member Fumie Hashimoto rescues the pet and invites Yasako to join their team. Meanwhile, hacker Yuuko Amasawa, known as Isako, is also tracking these virtual anomalies and sicknesses. Can Coil uncover the truth behind these mysterious viruses and system breaches? And if so, what will be the cost?
