Thanks to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the world has been transformed by cutting-edge technology at an unprecedented pace. Consequently, educational institutions have adjusted their academic curricula to incorporate these radical changes, leaving behind obsolete traditional methods. The esteemed Yuyu Girls' Vocational High School is one such institution that has taken these advancements into account. Childhood pals Serufu Yua and Miku "Purin" Suride both applied to attend, but only technologically-savvy Purin was accepted, while accident-prone Serufu was denied admission and had to attend Gatagata Girls' High School, creating a rift between them. One day, while en route to school, Serufu had a biking mishap. Rei Yasaku, a fellow student, offered to fix her damaged bike, revealing her love for old-fashioned crafts and that she was in charge of the school's struggling Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Club, which had a low membership count. Serufu realized that joining the DIY Club could be a chance to reconnect with Purin by working on projects together. She joined the club and, in addition to developing craft-making skills, formed new friendships along the way!
