Description:
In the bustling district of Ikebukuro in Tokyo, many bizarre rumors and anonymous warnings circulate among the population about dangerous gangs and occupants. However, one urban legend reigns supreme above all others: the existence of a headless figure known as the "Black Rider" who rides a sleek, jet-black motorcycle through the city streets. Ryuugamine Mikado has always yearned for the thrill and excitement of city life, and an invitation from a childhood friend prompts him to make the move to Tokyo. On his very first day in the city, he witnesses the Black Rider riding by, causing him to feel as though his dreams have been realized. Nevertheless, as supernatural events begin to unfold, Mikado and everyday citizens like himself become embroiled in the bedlam overtaking Ikebukuro and its most colorful inhabitants.
