Description:

Despite being defeated, the remaining factions of the Taipingtao Revolution persist in resisting, leading China into an endless war. Additionally, the rebellion's high death toll breeds negativity that generates miasma and spawns malignant creatures known as "wangliang." These beings possess humans and convert them into horrific demons, triggering further fatalities and miasma, and perpetuating a vicious cycle of destruction. The Tianyuan, immortal deities, choose specific individuals as "Hunters" to counter this menace. These Hunters are backed by "Guizhan," Tianyuan-created specialists with the power to absorb miasma and morph into demons, serving as indispensable weapons against the wangliang. Following a calamitous incident where an unruly Guizhan disrupted the Sixth Hunter Unit, the Tianyuan handpick three exceptional Hunters - Ji Ying, Qiao Xun, and Yan Ding - to rebuild the team. However, inexplicably, they also allocate Xiao Ling, the youthful Guizhan who was responsible for the previous group's downfall, to collaborate with the trio. Despite their bickering, the Hunters must overcome their differences and pool their abilities to triumph over their common adversary.
