Description:

The Holy Grail is an ancient relic with the power to grant the deepest of desires. To attain this power, a group of magicians called "masters" summon legendary Heroic Spirits known as "servants" to battle each other in the Holy Grail War. The last surviving master-servant duo is granted possession of the Grail. However, the third war ended unexpectedly when the Grail vanished without a trace. Years later, the magi clan of Yggdmillennia announces their acquisition of the Holy Grail and declares their independence from the Mage's Association. The Association sends 50 elite magi to retrieve the Grail, but all but one are killed by an unknown servant. The sole survivor is then sent back with a message of Yggdmillennia's declaration of war. As only two sides remain, the Holy Grail War takes on a unique form. Yggdmillennia and the Mage's Association each deploy seven master-servant pairs, and the side that loses all their fighters first must forfeit the Grail. As the 14 masters gather and summon their servants, the magical world trembles with the impending rise of the Great Holy Grail War.
