Description:

The Holy Grail War is a fierce conflict between mages. Seven masters and their summoned servants engage in battle, all vying for the magical artifact that can grant any wish: the Holy Grail. Fuyuki City suffered the final battle of the Fourth Holy Grail War about ten years ago, resulting in more than 500 casualties and widespread devastation. After surviving the catastrophe that struck his city, Shirou Emiya yearns to become a hero of justice, much like his adoptive father and savior, Kiritsugu Emiya. Despite being a mere student, Shirou becomes embroiled in the Fifth Holy Grail War when he witnesses a fight between servants at his school and unwittingly summons his own servant, Saber. As a mysterious shadow begins a killing spree in Fuyuki City, Shirou and Rin Toosaka, another contender in the Holy Grail War, team up to prevent further loss of human life. However, Shirou's love for his dear friend, Sakura Matou, draws him deeper into the murky and secretive activities surrounding the warring clans and conflict.
