Description:
The Holy Grail War enlists seven Masters, who are magi in a battle royale. Using command seals given upon entering the war, Masters direct Servants, who are Heroic Spirits, to fight for them. Rin Toosaka, a magus, joins the Fifth Holy Grail War with her Servant, Archer, in pursuit of obtaining the Holy Grail, a magical artifact that grants the wielder any wish. Shirou Emiya, Rin's classmate, accidentally becomes a participant, and commands Saber as his Servant. As they come across common foes, Rin and Shirou unite temporarily to take on their opponents in the Holy Grail War.
