Thanks to the aid of a fox spirit youkai, humans are blessed with the opportunity to be reborn and to rekindle their love with their beloved youkai through the guidance of a Fox Spirit Matchmaker. Our story centers on Bai Yuechu, a mighty human Taoist who yearns for freedom from the ruling Yi Qi Dao League, and Tushan Susu, an innocent and ambitious fox spirit who aspires to become a renowned matchmaker. When Susu falls from the sky and lands on Yuechu's roof, they together set out on a quest to reunite two star-crossed lovers who have been tragically separated: Prince Fan Yun Fei and his reincarnated soulmate, Li Xueyang. However, not all parties involved are thrilled about this reunion, and Xueyang herself struggles to accept it. As destiny would have it, Yuechu and Susu unite to discover their true identities in both their current lives and their past ones.
