Description:
Thanks to nuclear testing, a highly intelligent humanoid species known as the Fumoon appeared abruptly on a small island. Though Dr. Yamadano discovered their existence, only a select few believed him, including detective Shinsaku Ban, young men Rock and Kenichi, and Kenichi's sister Pichi (Pinoko). Meanwhile, the Fumoon were busy abducting animals from all over the world, preparing to flee Earth in their spaceships. They knew that a dense cloud of black gas, caused by a massive stellar explosion, was about to engulf the planet, destroying all life. The Fumoon planned to abandon humanity altogether, however one of their own, Rokoko, became friends with Kenichi and tried to assist Dr. Yamadano and his team in developing a spaceship capable of carrying a small number of humans to safety. They received assistance from Dr. Ochanomizu and Dr. Frankenstein.
