Policeman's 2011 rap music video "Galo Sengen," also known as "Galish Man GAL" in English and GAL男宣言 in Japanese, gained notoriety for its comical take on the "Gyaruo" youth culture in Japan. The culture is characterized by dark tanned skin, bleached blonde hair, and a love for dance music. The animated music video features men satirically transformed into Super Saiyans from the manga franchise Dragon Ball, transcending into a state of being "galish" or "gyaru" - derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the English word "girl."
