At some point in the distant future, humanity progressed to outer space and thrived. Yet, a sudden and unexpected phenomenon called Jikushin - an earthquake that transcended time and space - disrupted all communication networks, caused a reset of all civilizations, and left humanity struggling to recover. Amidst this, the Transvaal Empire emerged at the core of the galaxy, leading humanity into a new era of prosperity called "The Second." The Lost Technology, an advanced scientific and technological knowledge that existed prior to the reset, was regarded as a divine endeavor, canonized by a priest known as "Tsuki no Miko." Meanwhile, a standard guard fleet patrolled the frontier of the galactic system - but among them, the "Angel Corps" existed as an unusual team comprised solely of women. Flying a Lost Technology relic known as the "Angel Frame," they salvaged forgotten technology and dutifully managed it. Despite their unconventional traits, such as Forte's obsession with weaponry, Mint's penchant for cosplay, Vanilla's reticence, Ranpha's flamboyance, and Milfeulle's love of cooking, Angel Corps' members were not elite pilots - but their antics often resulted in major setbacks during their missions.
