Description:
The second installment of the Virtual Trilogy is a fusion of anime and live-action footage. Virtual Station is a laboratory designed for DNA collection and research. By combining strands of ancient DNA, a virtual version of the past is formed. Yui is a Gene Diver who delves into this virtual past to procure DNA from long-extinct animals. However, things take a sudden turn when Yui attempts to exit the virtual world during a maintenance cycle. Instead of returning to reality, she is transferred to an entirely new virtual present. This uncontrollable system has generated a world where an intelligent species of rodents, called puglaistig, has evolved. They view the existence of humankind as a serious threat and will go to any lengths to prevent human evolution.
