Description:
After two millennia since humanity's downfall, Earth is now overrun by voracious beasts wandering freely. Meanwhile, the last remnants of mankind drift aimlessly in their vessel that ferried them away from the desolate planet decades before. As their spacecraft dwindles in resources, the council of surviving leaders must choose their fate: pursue another Earth-like planet or follow an anonymous essay that reveals Godzilla's supposed vulnerability - the creature that drove them out of their homeland. Haruo Sakaki, who witnessed his parents' demise by the hands of Godzilla, penned the contentious essay. His obsession with slaying the monster propels him to lead the mission to reclaim humanity's rightful place on Earth. But Earth has changed drastically since they left, and the ferocity of Godzilla and its offspring pales in comparison to the darkness lurking within the tight-knit group of survivors.
