Description:
Born in a cemetery, Kitarou is a boy youkai who belongs to the Ghost tribe and is the sole survivor aside from his partly decayed father. Although his left eye is missing, he hides the empty socket with his hair. His main mission is to promote harmony between humans and youkai by shielding the former from the cunning of the latter. This rendition of Kitarou's tale draws its inspiration from the early Hakaba Kitarou manga, which triggered the renowned Gegege no Kitarou series in the late 1960s.
