When Kodaka Hasegawa receives news of his impending transfer to a new school, his determination to leave a positive impression and maybe make some friends is unwavering. Unfortunately for him, his blond hair and serious expression get him branded as a violent delinquent even before he can settle in. Despite a month passing by, he remains friendless as his notoriety persists. But then, fate takes an unexpected turn when he bumps into Yozora Mikazuki, who he finds talking to her imaginary friend in an empty classroom. As they bond over their solitary lives in high school, the two decide to team up and conquer the challenge of making friends together by creating the Neighbor's Club. Designed for people without friends, the club offers daily activities aimed at honing social skills and fitting in the crowd, essentially helping its members make friends. With the addition of Sena Kashiwazaki, an eroge fan, and other peculiar individuals, Kodaka finally discovers a group of people he can call friends; a club filled with rib-tickling oddballs.
