Description:

Chizuru Yukimura embarked on a mission in 1864 Japan to locate her father, Koudou, a traveling doctor who had been missing for months. In order to increase her chances of success, she disguised herself as a male and made her way to Kyoto. However, her plans went awry when she witnessed a group of ronin being brutally slaughtered by a gang of white-haired men. The situation only worsened when the Shinsengumi, a band of samurai who had come to counterattack the murderers, caught her. Uncertain about what to do with her, the Shinsengumi detained Chizuru in their headquarters, debating whether to execute her or not. But things took a turn when Chizuru mentioned her father's name, as the Shinsengumi had been searching for him as well. However, Chizuru found out that her father was somehow linked to the Shinsengumi and their allies, and she was suddenly thrust into a conflict between her father's past and the pressing political issues of the day.
