Description:
The initial installment of films depicts the first and second seasons. In ancient Kyoto, a covert battle is waged between the Shinsengumi, the Shogunate's skilled fighters, and the Rasetsu, a group of vampiric Ronin known as Furies. Chizuru Yukimura, disguised as a man, becomes caught in the midst of the struggle while searching for her father. However, Chizuru's destiny becomes forever intertwined with that of Vice Commander Toshizo Hijikata and his elite team of swordsmen. Chizuru's father has created a top-secret serum that provides the user with increased speed, strength, and healing abilities, a powerful elixir that the Furies will stop at nothing to obtain and control, including murder.
