Description:
Shao Guee, the animator behind "Haruwo," spent over a year crafting a half-hour short set in a violent, post-apocalyptic Japan. The story follows Haruwo, a reckless juvenile delinquent who dares to take on the Yakuza. However, he soon discovers that the gang's new bouncer might be more than he can handle. Shao Guee created every aspect of the film, including the music, for the sheer pleasure of it rather than monetary gain. "Haruwo" is a labor of love that Guee hopes will be enjoyed by people worldwide. She invites viewers to share her vision and spread the word to friends if they appreciate it. She also expresses her gratitude to everyone who helped her turn her dream project into a reality.
