Included with the HighSchool DxD DVD and Blu-rays are a set of standalone episodes, each ranging from 3-5 minutes in length with no specific storyline. Special 1, titled "Going Sunbathing!", features the Occult Research Club taking a trip to the beach for some fun in the sun. "Issei's Private Training!" is the focus of Special 2, showcasing Akeno teaching Issei the art of magic. In Special 3, "A Little Bold, Koneko-Chan... Nyan!", Koneko accidentally has her personality reversed through a magical mishap, making her incredibly sexually active with a reversal of her sexual preference. Special 4, "The Untold Story of The Dress Break's Birth!", offers a flashback of Issei's discovery and perfection of his signature move, Dress Break. In "Making Udon!" (Special 5), Sona and Tsubaki pay a penalty for losing a bet and must make udon for the Occult Research Club, but the dish takes on a life of its own. Lastly, Special 6 - "Asia Transforms!" showcases Asia's attempt to prove she's just as bad as any demon by using Issei's magazine tips, even going as far as dressing like a harlot to seduce him.
