Description:

Yoroi Takeshi, a laidback and somewhat gullible teenager, lends a hand to the bumbling detective enthusiast Kuruma Jo. Despite Jo's boastful claim of being Sherlock Holmes' heir, their independent investigation company is in dire straits and their unkempt office is on the brink of closure. Their landlord, Nanba Teru, frequently threatens to evict them due to Jo's tardy rent payments. To stay afloat, they while away their days eavesdropping and spying on the Secret International Police Department across the street. They even resort to shadowing their foes in hopes of snagging much-needed cases. However, Takeshi harbors a secret of his own. He possesses superhuman abilities, transforming into the formidable "Hurricane" Polymer, complete with his trusty Poly-Met, crimson cowl, and outfit, all to preserve his secret identity. His faithful Saint Bernard, Daisaku, is the only one privy to this information, providing commentary via his internal monologue. Working together, Jo and Takeshi, with Polymer's heightened strength and martial prowess, take on and triumph over a variety of nefarious factions, gangs, mutants, and creatures in the advanced metropolis of Washinkyo (a blend of Washington and Tokyo).
