Description:
Michi Sonoda, known for her carefree attitude, shockingly tells her teammate Sanae Takigawa that she is quitting judo after her last competition in middle school. Sanae cannot comprehend this decision, as Michi's passion was the driving force that brought Sanae into the sport. Michi argues that youth should be spent on things like romance, not wrestling on wet tatami mats. Sadly, Michi's plan to end her judo journey on a high note falls apart after an embarrassing loss to the skilled Towa Hiura. To make matters worse, Towa enrolls in the same high school as Michi and Sanae. Michi's former rival's sudden appearance ignites a spark within Michi, making her realize that she may still have some love for judo.
