It is extremely rare for a girl to be born with dual souls, one human and the other belonging to a kaiju. These remarkable individuals are labeled as "Kaiju Girls" and possess the physical appearance of an average person alongside the supernatural abilities of a monstrous giant. In order to aid these girls in adapting to their powers and finding their place in society, the International Kaiju Rescue and Mentoring Organization was formed, commonly known as GIRLS. Recently, three youthful females have awoken their kaiju sides. Aki Miyashita, a reserved girl, embraces the soul of Agira; Reika Shiragane, who is serious in nature, inherits Windom; and the energetic Miku Ushimaru receives Miclas. Together, they become members of GIRLS and each gain knowledge on how to wield their powers and rein in their instinctual animal tendencies. With the help of those around them, Agira, Windom, and Miclas are able to understand what it truly means to be a Kaiju Girl.
