Description:

The worlds of humans and demons (known as youkai) have merged, allowing humans to go about their lives normally while demons lurk unseen among them. Yurine, a seemingly young woman, and her servant Karas, who takes the form of a crow, have kept the peace between the two worlds by preventing demons from interfering in human affairs. However, humans have forgotten the existence of demons and now mock them, oblivious to their own safety. In response to this, an old Karas named Eko abandons his duties and creates an army of mechanized demons called Mikura to attack humans. Otoha, a young man, inherits the powers of the Karas and joins Yurine in the demon world. Yurine claims Otoha's soul called out to her while he lived as a human. Otoha must prove himself as the new Karas and restore the balance that Eko threatens to upset. Meanwhile, a superstitious police officer named Sagisaka and his level-headed partner Kure investigate the murders committed by Eko's Mikura and a rogue Mikura named Nue. The story develops into a profound revelation for everyone in the city.
