Description:
Izuminokami Kanesada and Horikawa Kunihiro make a journey through time to Edo in 1863, driven by reports of an imminent enemy invasion. Taking inspiration from Toshizou Hijikata, they assume the roles of his swords and are entrusted with the task of protecting history from the Retrograde Army's attempts to alter it. Joined by other skilled sword fighters, they engage in fierce battles with this mysterious force during the Bakumatsu era. However, their path through this turbulent era is fraught with obstacles, including betrayal and violence. They must confront challenging dilemmas which could put everything they hold dear at risk.
