Description:
During China's Warring States period, fierce battles raged for 500 years, leaving destruction in their wake and paving the way for new kingdoms to rise and fall. Eventually, seven powerful states came to power after years of warfare. Xin, a war-orphaned slave living in the Kingdom of Qin, trains relentlessly with his best friend and fellow slave Piao, dreaming of one day becoming a Great General of the Heavens. However, their dreams are shattered when Piao is plucked from their ranks to work in the royal palace by a retainer of the King. When a violent coup d'état erupts, Piao returns to Xin, severely injured and on a mission to meet the young King, Ying Zheng, who bears a startling resemblance to him. Throughout the events in Kingdom, Xin must forge his own path towards glory and navigate the tumultuous history of China's Seven Warring States to achieve his goal of becoming a Great General.
