Description:

Despite a fractured and unsynchronized performance at the Kanto Region Traditional Japanese Music Festival, the Tokise High School Koto Club persevered with courage. Chika Kudou, Satowa Houzuki, Takezou Kurata, Hiro Kurusu, Kouta Mizuhara, Saneyasu Adachi, and Michitaka Sakai were devastated by the negative results but recognized their potential. Enthusiastically, they agreed to collectively sharpen their skills, improve their flaws, and develop higher caliber playing to succeed at the upcoming national qualifiers. With the assistance of their now willing club adviser, Suzuka Takinami, the group gradually grasped the foundations of good music and refined their koto-playing abilities. They saw the suggestion of performing more often as an opportunity to gain the experience they lacked. However, as they embarked on their journey to nationals, the koto club members encountered challenges that impeded their progress. They faced the threat of other powerhouse schools and musicians, as well as high school issues of budding romance and soon-to-be-graduating seniors that pushed the limits of the determined group of teenagers and the future of the koto club.
