Description:
Eiri Kurahashi, a Japanese art student who works at an antique store, begins to show signs of forgetfulness and changes in personality that concern his friends. They suspect that a girl may be the cause of his odd behavior. Their suspicion proves to be partially correct when Eiri discovers a stunning girl trapped inside a Venetian glass artifact. He is so enamored with her that he even incorporates her likeness into his artwork. Thanks to a painting by an Italian artist named Marchello Orlando, Eiri learns that her name is Cossette d'Auvergne and that her tragic death was a result of her family's massacre. One night as Eiri is closing up shop, he hears a voice begging him not to leave. He finally connects with the object of his fixation and agrees to some terms without fully understanding the implications.
