Description:
Japan has implemented "The Red Threads of Science," a complex system in a futuristic society to address declining birthrates and promote successful marriages. The government assigns marriage partners to 16-year-olds based on compatibility calculations, with serious consequences for disobedience. Yukari Nejima, an average teen, views this system as his chance for a fulfilling life. However, he defies it out of love for his classmate and crush, Misaki Takasaki, who eventually reciprocates. Yet, Yukari's illicit romance with Misaki is complicated when he receives his marriage notice and is assigned Ririna Sanada, who becomes intrigued by their affair.
