Misaki Ayuzawa, a remarkable presence in Seika High School, has broken barriers by becoming the first female student council president in spite of the school's predominantly male population. Her fierce dedication to promoting fairness and equality for her fellow female students has earned her the nickname "Demon President," but her stance towards the male students remains uncompromising. One day, Misaki stumbles upon a crying girl and discovers that Takumi Usui, the school's heartthrob, had rejected the girl's confession of love. Misaki's anger towards Usui is palpable, but his nonchalant response catches her off guard. When Misaki's secret double life as a maid in a cafe is uncovered, she is ashamed and intends to keep Usui at a distance to avoid tarnishing her reputation. But Usui's repeated visits to the cafe, where he openly teases and observes Misaki, make it increasingly difficult for her to keep up appearances. As pressure mounts and scrutiny increases, Misaki wonders if Usui can be trusted to keep her identity a secret or if his motives will lead to her downfall.
