Description:

One of the films presented within the 'Toei Manga Festival' program was a medium-length anime movie, spanning 50 minutes in duration. Alongside it, a live-action feature called "Kamen Rider vs. Ambassador Hell" and other works were also screened. Set in the near-future, the mecha action film is filled with sci-fi elements and centers around four cyborg dogs. The concept was originally derived from Hiroshi Sasagawa's manga, "Maken Goro," which was initially serialized in "Weekly Shonen King" in 1963. The story follows the exploits of a young lad named Tsutomu and his band of canines: Queen, Ace, Jack, and Joker. In times of strife, these furry heroes coalesce and transform into a spaceship called the "Liner." Their mission? To repel vile, insectoid aliens from the Planet Devil. Leading the charge behind the camera is director Takeshi Tamiya. Takeo Yamashita provides the rousing soundtrack for this thrilling adventure.
