Dr. Hell and his army of Mechanical Beasts have made their comeback, posing a grave and formidable threat as never before. Kouji Kabuto and Tetsuya Tsurugi, with courage in their hearts, go head-to-head against these monstrous machines that are under the command of Baron Ashura. Unfortunately, they find themselves overwhelmed, resulting in Kouji’s Mazinger Z being captured and Tetsuya's Great Mazinger being severely damaged. Dr. Hell demonstrates his craftiness by turning the stolen robot into Ashura Mazinger and using it to attack the Photo Power Lab. Kouji is nowhere to be seen, leaving Tetsuya to safeguard the laboratory while operating the battered Great Mazinger. Sadly, even the heroic Tetsuya succumbs to Dr. Hell's relentless forces, leaving them with the impression that all is lost. As the war appears to be coming to a close, an unknown robot emerges and unleashes a potent blast, defeating the army of Mechanical Beasts. Who could be operating this enigmatic robot, and is it possible that this is the legendary Mazinkaiser?
