Description:
Legend has it that the ingestion of mermaid flesh grants eternal life, as evidenced by the 500-year-old Yuta and his comrade Mana. However, most who attempt this feat perish or undergo a monstrous metamorphosis. Fifty-five years ago, Towa Kannagi received mermaid blood from her sister, Sawa, to cure a life-threatening ailment. Though Towa maintains her youthful facade, her hair has turned white and her arm mutated into an animalistic appendage. For years, she has sought to restore her body by utilizing blood transfusions from recently-deceased youths with the assistance of local physician Shiina. When Mana is mistakenly brought to Shiina, Towa seizes the opportunity to use her blood. But upon discovering Mana's vitality, how far will Towa go to resurrect herself? And can Yuta save Mana before it's too late?
