Description:
Koyomi Araragi survives a vampire attack but notices that Tsubasa Hanekawa, his friend and savior, is displaying unusual behavior. He sees her with a bandage on her face and becomes concerned. However, she brushes it off, attributing it to an injury she sustained at home. Later, they encounter a white tailless cat that is hit by a car and bury it together. Things take a worrying turn when Araragi visits Meme Oshino and learns that what they buried was actually an apparition that suits Hanekawa's condition. He sets out to find her and discovers that she has been possessed by the "Sawari Neko" and even attacked her own parents. Now it falls to Araragi to return the favor and help Hanekawa.
