Description:
Demonic entities known as Oni are waging war on humanity. With no other recourse, scientist Dr. Saotome develops enormous robots that harness the enigmatic energy of Getter Rays. These colossal machines give humanity the strength they need to battle against the Oni. The premier robot in the series is Getter Robo. However, the challenging task lies in finding three men with diverse backgrounds and abilities to operate it. Dr. Saotome selects martial artist Ryoma Nagare, criminal leader Hayato Jin, and monk Benkei Musashibou to lead the Getter Team.
