Description:
Upon returning from their summer break, the Ninjutsu Academy students are informed that due to a mistake made by Komatsuda, their summer homework has been jumbled together. This has resulted in Kisanta, who was given an assignment intended for a sixth-year student, disappearing after attempting to sneak into Oomagatoki Castle to steal their lord's fundoshi. Shinbei and Kirimaru are assigned to lead a rescue mission, but it won't be easy given that Oomagatoki is currently embroiled in a war with Tasogaredoki Castle. Meanwhile, the academy also receives a call for aid from a village grappling with the ongoing conflict. Rantarou and the rest of the students and faculty members set out to provide the necessary support.
