After moving from Tokyo to a secluded town in the countryside, Hotaru is faced with a significant cultural transition. The nearest comic store demands a 20-minute car ride, and the closest video store is a ten-stop train journey away. Additionally, Hotaru's new school consists of only three girls and one boy. Despite the stark contrast from her past life, Hotaru finds herself at ease in the laid-back environment of her new home. She is excited to embark on thrilling experiences with her newfound friends Renge, Komari, Natsumi, and Suguru while also feeling nostalgic for certain aspects of her old life. Hotaru eagerly anticipates creating cherished memories with her new squad.
