Description:
The world is infused with Astral power, which is controlled by skilled astral mages. Unfortunately, those who possess its dangerous potential are persecuted by the "Empire." Tormented by this oppression, the mages establish the Nebulis Sovereignty, resulting in a century-long conflict with the Empire. One day, Iska, a talented knight, comes to the aid of a captive witch and is subsequently imprisoned. A year later, the Empire offers him freedom on the condition that he hunts down the infamous "Ice Calamity Witch." With a desire to end the war, Iska agrees and eventually crosses paths with the Ice Calamity Witch herself, Aliceliese "Alice" Lou Nebulis XI. Like Iska, Alice also yearns for peace and is willing to go to great lengths to overthrow the Empire. Iska and Alice form an unexpected bond as they work towards a world free of pain, suffering, and conflict. Their intertwined destiny takes them on a journey that goes beyond mere coincidence.
